Yay babies!

Since I've told almost everyone by now... I'm pregnant! We started trying when Nathan got back from his last patrol, and got pregnant right away! I'm around 8 weeks now. I've got Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which sucks, but I just got my medication changed, so hopefully I'll be nausea-free starting tomorrow. I just got into the midwife program at Tripler, which is very exciting news. They only take 15 patients per month, and can you imagine how many military wives get pregnant in any given month here on the island? I'll bet the number is in the hundreds.

So huzzah for intentional pregnancy. This will be our second and last, in order to remain a compact family unit able to pick up and vacation in France without too much trouble. Now... will it be an Oliver or an Ivy?

The mystery baby is due February 13th. Mark your calendars!!

Katie,

I suffered though HG in four pregnancies and have written a comprehensive book on the subject called "Beyond Morning Sickness: Battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum." I'd be happy to send you a free, postage-paid copy of it if you give me your mailing address. You can either respond to this e-mail or send one to ashli@beyondmorningsickness.com (and read more about the book at my website, www.beyondmorningsickness.com).

How do I delete spammy comments?

I'm sorry the comment came across as spammy, but I'm not selling anything, just trying to get HG information out to anyone who needs it for free. Ordinarily I make the offer in a private e-mail, but I couldn't find yours listed on your blog. Again, if you'd like a free copy of the book, I'd be glad to send you one.

I'm voting for an Oliver since I have a Jack Oliver myself!

Love the names!

I just found this (hence the late post)
